Under the CPRA, certain personal information is treated as “sensitive personal information.” We may collect the following category of sensitive personal information: account log-in credentials (such as a username in combination with a password or other credentials allowing access to an account). We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under the CPRA, and We do not use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about You. See “Limit the Use or Disclosure of My Sensitive Personal Information” below.

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of third parties: Service Providers (such as hosting and infrastructure providers), analytics providers, payment processors, email and text-message delivery providers, and grocery delivery, fulfillment, and shipping partners.
Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
The CCPA/CPRA defines a “sale” as disclosing personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “sharing” as disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell Your personal information in exchange for money. However, We use third-party analytics and advertising technologies (such as cookies and similar tracking technologies) that may result in the disclosure of certain identifiers and Internet activity information (Categories A and F) to third parties in a manner that could be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the broad definitions of the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to opt out of this sale or sharing of Your personal information. See the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” section below.
Sale of Personal Information of Minors Under 16 Years of Age. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of Consumers We actually know are under 16 years of age, unless We receive affirmative authorization (the “right to opt in”) either from the Consumer who is between 13 and 16 years of age, or from the parent or guardian of a Consumer under 13 years of age. Consumers who opt in to the sale or sharing of personal information may opt out at any time.
Your Rights under the CCPA/CPRA
If You are a California resident, You have the following rights:
- The right to notice. You have the right to be notified of the categories of personal information being collected and the purposes for which it is used.
- The right to know / access (right to request disclosure). You have the right to request that We disclose, free of charge, information about Our collection and use of Your personal information. For information collected on or after January 1, 2022, You may also request information beyond the 12-month period, unless doing so proves impossible or would involve disproportionate effort.
- The right to delete. You have the right to request that We delete personal information We have collected from You, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law.
- The right to correct. You have the right to request that We correct inaccurate personal information that We maintain about You.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. You have the right to direct Us not to sell or share Your personal information.
- The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. You have the right to request that We limit the use or disclosure of Your sensitive personal information to certain permitted purposes.
- The right to non-discrimination. You have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of Your CCPA/CPRA rights.
Exercising Your CCPA/CPRA Rights
To exercise any of the rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to Us by:
- Emailing Us at hello@gathercooking.com; or
- Visiting Our contact page at https://gathercooking.com/privacy-policy (opens in a new tab).
Only You, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that You authorize to act on Your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to Your personal information.
Your request to Us must: (1) provide sufficient information that allows Us to reasonably verify You are the person about whom We collected personal information or an authorized representative; and (2) describe Your request with sufficient detail that allows Us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it. We cannot respond to Your request or provide You with the required information if We cannot verify Your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the personal information relates to You.
We will disclose and deliver the required information free of charge within 45 days of receiving Your verifiable request. The time period to provide the required information may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary and with prior notice. Any disclosures We provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the receipt of Your request, unless otherwise required or permitted by law. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to Your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of Your personal information. To exercise this right, You may:
- Adjust Your cookie or tracking preferences using Our cookie preferences/consent tool (where available);
- Broadcast an opt-out preference signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). We treat a valid GPC browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device; and/or
- Contact Us using the details in the “Contact Us” section.
Because the sale or sharing through cookies and tracking technologies is tied to the specific browser or device You use, You may need to opt out on each browser and device You use.
Limit the Use or Disclosure of My Sensitive Personal Information
If We use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted under the CPRA, You have the right to request that We limit such use or disclosure. To exercise this right, please contact Us using the details in the “Contact Us” section. As described above, We currently use sensitive personal information only for purposes permitted by the CPRA and do not use it to infer characteristics about You.

California's Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) requires Us to disclose the following information to California residents who use Our Service:
- The categories of personally identifiable information We collect are described in the “Personal Data” and “Usage Data” sections above, as well as in the “CCPA/CPRA Privacy Notice for California Residents” section.
- You may review and request changes to Your personally identifiable information by signing in to Your Account and visiting the account settings section, or by contacting Us.
- When We make material changes to this Privacy Policy, We will notify You as described in the “Changes to this Privacy Policy” section and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy.
- Some third parties (such as Our analytics and advertising providers) may collect personally identifiable information about Your online activities over time and across different websites when You use Our Service, as described in the “Analytics” and “Tracking Technologies and Cookies” sections.
Do Not Track (DNT). Do Not Track is a preference You can set in Your web browser to inform websites that You do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the preferences or settings page of Your web browser. Our Service does not currently respond differently to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, because no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. However, where required by law, We honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as described in the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” section above.
California's “Shine the Light” Law. Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents who have an established business relationship with Us may request certain information regarding Our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact Us using the details in the “Contact Us” section.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 16. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 16 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on Our Service, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
